In late 2020, we were approached by our clients to breathe new life into their cherished cottage, which had seen better days after years of use and the lively antics of a new puppy. They aimed to maintain the home’s original charm while focusing on durability and sustainable design. We preserved the architectural details, reupholstered the existing furniture, and thoughtfully introduced new carpets and area rugs, sourcing additional pieces only when necessary. To enhance the warm dark wood throughout, we added vibrant color contrasts and rich textures, creating a beautifully inviting space that truly reflects their personal style.
